Jan H. Wolfe has been performing on stage since she was eleven. She received her BA in acting from UCLA. She has been an actress, director and drama teacher in El Paso for 37 years. In that time she has been involved in hundreds of productions, most of them right here at the Playhouse, where she is also a long-standing board member. Her most recent productions were as director of The Hollow at the Playhouse in January and as Estelle in Mother's Day, in May, 2007. She met her husband, Chet Frame, while playing Miss Marple over twenty years ago and they have been doing shows together ever since.
Jan is now focusing all her attention to the things she loves: writing, directing and teaching children's theatre. She is a Board Member and Past President of the El Paso Playhouse, teaches drama at EPCC and The Jewish Academy, writes and directs murder mysteries for Die Laughing and acts and directs at the Playhouse. She writes about theatre and other local subjects for the El Paso Magazine. She is also a doting grandmother.
